Sitting in my solitude
Trying hard to adjust my attitude
Visions dancing thru my mind
Regrets of many things I find

Days can be an empty shell
Transgressions that we know so well
Demons in our thoughts we fight
Cast them into the hellfire night

Dark and dreary pictures loom
Painted with a brush of doom
Erie shadows in the hall
Tread not there you will fall

Doom and gloom no place to hide
Into the abyss drag the world inside
Within the walls with nails we scrape
This sinister void there is no escape

Fight the dragons I must do
To the end I must pursue
Lured into our imagination
All is lost there is no salvation
