A strange flower is the Pansy
With funny faces they make
Petals of many colors
They almost seem fake
Smiling back at you
Just to let you know
Other flowers have no face
No matter where they grow

Pansies seem to grow so well
Many secrets in their blooms
Always brighten up a room
Do they have a smell
They want to say something
But they never tell
It's part of their daily life
Casting the spell

Daisies and Buttercups
All gather around
They squint at the Pansy
Wearing a frown
Poking fun with Tee Hee
At this funny face
How on Earth did
This flower come to be

I would choose the Pansy
Because of its charm
Have you ever seen a flower
That makes a heart so warm
If Pansies could only talk
They would surely say
I can't help how I am
God made me this way
