Our Fury Friends

If Animals could only speak

I wonder what they would say

Would they still be our friends

Or just look the other way

Many things that we don't see

Hidden out of sight

Our Fury Friends point of view

Lurking in the night

If only we could talk with them

How pleasant that would be

The stories they could tell

Would amaze you and me

They might be scary things

We might not want too hear

Tales of frightful deeds

Absent from all fear

Fury Friends make great pets

Always by our side

Even if we treat them bad

They never run and hide

Love they give to us

With great concern

Loyally they stand with us

Asking nothing in return

We Humans have a lot to learn

From our Fury Friends

They have views in life

With every twist and turn

Nature has provided them

With things we don't know

Animals are like that

That's why we love them so
