Snowy icy summits

Reaching to the sky

Born of mother earth

Standing oh so high

Tales of their birth

They could surely spew

When time stood still

The world was so new

Rocky crags of mystery

Lofty peaks so tall

Eons have passed in time

Never changing them at all

Weathered storms they meet

Boulders resting at their feet

Reaching oh so tall

Faces in the clouds

Everlasting steadfast

And so very proud

Made from building blocks

At the earths center core

By design that was the plan

To last for ever more

Majestic beauty painted

On every rocky slope

This reminder to mankind

Always to have hope

Looking to the mountain top

We will truly find

It's not just an obstacle

But another hill to climb
