Lost in the shadow of darkness

Unable to face life's defeat

With heavy heart we are blessed

Into the void they meet

The faint odor of danger

Lingers like a dark cloud

In solitude no stranger

Afraid of speaking out loud

Time passes so slowly

Each day seems so deep

Memories are lowly

From shadows as they creep

Mendacity hangs in the air

Its time to face the lie

No room for deep despair

Or to sit idly by

Oh how we contemplate

Forget the dreams

And silly schemes

Resting on our fate

There is more to share

Just open our eyes

It's here and everywhere

Not ours to compromise

From dark into the light

Spirits they must rise

Never to be out of sight

This is our life's demise

All the hope and mysterys

Now come into play

Every day a brighter day

This is our Destiny
