Frost is on the trees

A blanket crimson red

Fond memories they hide

Dreams have swiftly fled

Summer now has died

Autumn leaves of brown

Drift by my window pane

Flutter to the ground

Never more the same

As a feather floating free

Finding a place to rest

All of the colors I see

Autumn time is best

Autumn leaves of flame

Many different hues

This is natures game

Green will start anew

Branches dark and barren

The leaves are set free

A perfect time for sharing
