Along the dim lit cobblestone

Wet with drizzly rain

This lonely man with umbrella

Each step is in pain

Trench coat and overshoes

Worn to keep him dry

Echo's in the alley way

Hear the mournful cry

One lit lantern

Lights up the dark

Ravens circle in the light

Into the void they dart

Warning of the mysteries

That lie just ahead

Silence in the alley way

Be careful where you tread

Such a heavy burden

Weighs upon the mind

Trials and tribulations

At the end he will find

Searching for redemption

Of things in the past

In this lonely alley way

The future now will pass
