What seems to be is really not

Circles in the corner found

Demons in the mind are fought

In this orb we are bound

.

Memories how they hide

Locked  in father time

What lies deep inside

Lingers there for us to find

.

Everlasting mysteries dwell

Reaching to the void of space

Oh the stories meant to tell

Reflections of the face

.

Searching for eternity

Wastelands of the id

Peace and serenity

Many things are hid

.

Smoke and mirrors fade

Drifting out of sight

Dreams of life are made

This never ending fight

.

In this solemn solitude

Are the ties that bind

It's a matter of attitude

Illusions in my mind
