I have a reason to be living

Clearly all things I see

This is a time for giving

The perfect way to be

Putting away the sorrows

This is a brighter day

Swiftly I must borrow

A time to sit and pray

.

I could be sad

Or I can be mad

But that's out of reason

I'm the only one

I should be pleasing

.

So how I know

Here I go

This is my fate

It's giddy up go

I can't be late

I See

...

I see the moonbeam in her eye

The stardust in her smile

Cotton clouds go drifting by

Love lingers for a while

.

I see the grace within her heart

Pure as the morning dew

Never more to depart

Always fresh and true

.

I see the blush upon her face

When she comes into view

A lady of silk and lace

Old fashioned but also new

.

I see the way she looks at me

With a  loving tender glance

A picture of pure ecstasy

Put there not by chance

.

I see myself at her side

Until the end of days

My love I cannot hide

Forever it will stay
