From our mother earth

Barren hills of strife

Since the time of birth

Distant sounds of thunder

Rumble in the air

Fills the day with wonder

And foreboding despair

Sturdy oak shade giving

Spreading out its arms

Forever will be living

And weather any storm

.

Roots deeply planted

Branches strong and fast

Mother natures plan

For eons too last

.

Like this tree of life

Standing in the breeze

It's how we must decide

Our selves we must please
