Foggy London Town

Reason for Living

I have a reason to be living
Clearly all things I see
This is a time for giving
The perfect way to be
Putting away the sorrows
This is a brighter day
Swiftly I must borrow
A time to sit and pray
I could be sad
Or I can be mad
But that's out of reason
I'm the only one
I should be pleasing
So how I know
Here I go
This is my fate
It's giddy up go
I can't be late

Garden Party

I went to a garden tea party
And guess who was there
Thinking I was a smarty
A man with a hat in his chair
A teapot short and stout
With a lid broken in two
The mouse says let me out
It seemed the thing to do
It's hard to find a chair to sit
The good ones are all taken
A silly strange white rabbit
With a spoon he was shaking
At the head of the table
Sits the ugly old queen
This is a fairy tale fable
But she was terribly mean
Collecting her stuff to depart
She left in a blink of a eye
A queen with a black heart
Cant help but wonder why
A guy named jack
He was carrying a spade
Kind of a bit of a quack
Look at the mess he made
I went to this garden party
Absent from fear or malice
I wasn't treated so well
Just because my name is Alice
