I have a reason to be living

Clearly all things I see

This is a time for giving

The perfect way to be

Putting away the sorrows

This is a brighter day

Swiftly I must borrow

A time to sit and pray

.

I could be sad

Or I can be mad

But that's out of reason

I'm the only one

I should be pleasing

.

So how I know

Here I go

This is my fate

It's giddy up go

I can't be late

Love

Divine Love

...

I gaze at the Heavens above

In search of the truth beyond

For the everlasting love

The promises to be found

.

I wonder at the Holy Grace

That fills my cup to the brim

The Innocence upon my face

That takes its rightful place

.

I search for wisdom of the mind

Locked up in chains of doubt

They dwell forgotten lost in time

Wailing sadly to be let out

.

I humbly beseech thee Lord

Grant to me your loving hand

With all my heart I implore

By your side I will stand

.

I thirst for the written word

Of the divinity meant to be

Harp strings as they are heard

That last for all of eternity
