Reason for Living

I have a reason to be living

Clearly all things I see

This is a time for giving

The perfect way to be

.

Putting away the sorrows

This is a brighter day

Swiftly I must borrow

A time to sit and pray

.

I could be sad

Or I can be mad

But that's out of reason

I'm the only one

I should be pleasing

.

So how I know

Here I go

This is my fate

It's giddy up go

I can't be late

Demons

Of The Past

Demons of the Past

...

Slumber creeps into my night

And the world outside is still

Nothing stirring in the quiet

Become a test of iron will

.

Huddled  in the corner dark

Demons evil run and hide

Deep within the id they park

Always present by my side

.

Only hope and faith to clutch

When the tears subside

All the dreams they touch

Hidden deeply tucked inside

.

Through the hours of despair

Never exit from the mind

Mendacity lingers in the air

Solutions of truth I must find

.

It's not a question of my pride

The battle has just begun

This is for me to decide

Should I fight or run

.

Slay the dragons in the night

With the sword of doubt

Before they drift out of sight

Hear them scream and shout

Cast  into the hellfire bright

.

Now that the deed is done

Once more in my solitude

With demons on the run

Returns my peaceful attitude
