Distant trumpet sounds are still
Faces gaunt beneath the Vail
Spread the bleakness of the will

Apocalyptic reapers ride
On mounts breathing fire
In their hands sickles hide
Desperation is their desire

Thunder of pending gloom
Across a darkened azure sky
A message of certain doom
Swiftly racing stealthily bye
.
Daggers of deep set mortal pain
Pierce the depths of the soul
Scars of transgressions remain
Linger but cannot be consoled
.
Into the abyss sadness dwells
Down deep by an anchor of doubt
Living in this private hell
With no way of climbing out
.
When there comes the hour
To leave this final mortal life
And answer to a higher power
Forget about the grief and strife
.
A divine voice from up above
This promise I give to thee
My gift of eternal lasting love
You will forever be with me
