In my frying pan

Hash browns dry

As hay

Grits taste like sand

Every time I turn

My eggs

I always break

The yolk

Breakfast at my house

Seems to be a joke

Butter on my toast

Tastes just like lard

I end up tossing it

To the dog in the yard

My coffee tastes like mud

I throw half away

That's because  it

Was ground yesterday

Dirty dishes in the sink

Put there to soak

I am getting tired of

A Pig in a poke

Breakfast at my house

Seems to be a joke

An invite

Its best to stay away

Save yourself from

Misery and dismay

Its not fit for

Decent folk
